My Approach
Warm. Playful. Compassionate.
Learning isn’t just about the ABCs. Children need help to understand their emotions and tools to manage them effectively. They learn these things best when they feel safe, understood and connected. That's why I take a playful, creative approach to therapy. Using games, art and directed play, I can help even the littlest clients explore big feelings in ways that feel natural and fun. With older kids, I introduce practical coping skills grounded in CBT and DBT to build self-confidence and resilience. My goal is to help kids learn useful, everyday skills that will grow with them as they become confident, self-assured adults.
My Background
Training and Experience
I believe in lifelong learning. That's why I pursued multiple degrees — first in education and knowledge integration, and then in psychotherapy. I learned the science behind children's learning—and how to turn theory into meaningful, real-world practice.
That interdisciplinary foundation shapes my work today. In session, I focus on emotion education, helping kids learn to recognize, express and manage feelings like anger, sadness and fear. I feel fortunate to do the work I love every day: supporting, teaching and learning from children of all ages and stages of development.
