My Approach
Affirming. Collaborative. Connected.
Everyone deserves a space where they feel safe to be themselves and tell their story—at their own pace. I strive to create that kind of space for teens who are exploring identity and belonging, including those who are gender diverse, neurodiverse or feeling misunderstood.
I use a collaborative approach to help young people make sense of their experiences and emotions. Grounded in evidence-based strategies like DBT, narrative and emotion-focused therapy, my work supports teens in developing insight and building coping skills. When words are hard to find, music offers another way in — opening doors to expression, regulation and connection.
My Background
Training and Experience
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist and a Certified Music Therapist with experience supporting teens through anxiety, depression, trauma and complex life challenges. As a queer and neurodiverse person, my lived experience shapes my work and allows me to show up with empathy and authenticity.
Earlier in my career, I worked with vulnerable and under-housed youth in community settings. Those experiences taught me the transformative power of relationships — and the profound impact a safe, consistent adult can have on a young person’s life.
Today, I draw on that foundation to walk alongside teens as they navigate big questions, strong emotions and difficult moments, helping them feel seen, supported and empowered to move forward.
