My Approach
Creative. Authentic. Fun.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel like work. I believe my clients can have fun expressing their emotions and learning about themselves - all while meeting their unique therapeutic goals. Using stories, art, drama, and play, I’ll help your child understand their brain, develop coping skills, and manage big emotions.
I integrate creative arts approaches with more traditional therapy techniques to help my clients gain insight and overcome challenges. Not an artist? Not a problem. I’ll help your child tap into their creative side and use their imagination as we get to work - I mean play.
My Background
Training and Experience
Working with women in the arts, I saw the healing power of storytelling. I knew I wanted to help more people tell their stories and rewrite the narratives that hold them back. I completed my Masters degree in Creative Arts Therapy to hone my counselling skills, and started a new chapter as a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying). I’ve worked in various hospitals and community health settings supporting children and teens with mental health issues. I feel privileged to do what I love and call it “work.”
